Work, Awards, Commissions and Residencies
2008-2009 Selected for commission to create a new work for the entrance of Broomfield Hospital, Essex.
2007-2009 In Our Image - Commission underway to make a 16m major new piece of sculpture for Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. Due to install in 2009
2008 Life support Commissioned by the Environment Agency to make new architectural scaled interventions within Kielder Salmon Hatchery.
2007 Commission to create Moving Matter for The University of Hull.
2007 Selected for commission to create Beyond Number, for Popley, Basingstoke.
2007-2008 Residency with the Environment Agency, Four projects in Northumberland
2006-2009 Commission to create now, then and always for Tullamore District Hospital
2005-2006 Commission to create Carbon Bond for Wansbeck Council.
2004-2005 Commission to create Generation for ONE North East, Development Agency, Newcastle.
2004 Elected associate member of the Royal British society of sculptors.
2002-2003 Part Time Sculpture Tutor, Tulane University, New Orleans, U.S.A.. Concurrent to my MA course I devised and taught 20 BA fine art students for one year.
2000. 'Year of the Artist' Award from the Arts Council, to make clutch for Chopwell Forest, Gateshead.
2000 Hilltop Sculpture Project, created a sited work for a ‘millennium green commission’.
2000 Residency in Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle.
1998-2000 Research Associate - art for public space, Newcastle University. Executed commissioned sculpture projects in conjunction with the head of department. Post also involved teaching across the sculpture school.

2008 DLI (Durham Light Infantry Museum), solo exhibiton of work from the last four years in the grounds of the museum, part of the series of exhibitions ‘sculpture in the park’.
2008 Burghley sculpture garden, Stamford. Two pieces in this group show.
